Next week the long anticipated follow-up to Demon Days by the Gorillaz will finally be released. The album features guest singers such as Snoop Dogg, Mos Def, and the legendary Lou Reed. The album is currently streaming in its entirety at the NPR website. 'Plastic Beach' is a very different album from Demon Days, and it starts off with sub-par songs. The album starts pickoing up with the first single 'Stylo' and 'Superfast Jellyfish.' It is a good album overall but nowhere near as good as 'Demon Days' and especially their debut.
In other Gorillaz news, the official music video for 'Stylo' was released yesterday, and it is incredible. Good graphics and an awesome appearance by Bruce Willis. Check it out.
