Concert Photos

Been takin' some pics at concerts that I've been at this past year. Not too much since Indiana sucks for music unless you like country music (my heart goes out to the victims of yesterday's horrible incident at the State Fair; never imagined something so horrible could happen that quickly). Regardless, here are some pics, most are from Lolla 2011 since that's the only place where I can get decent photos apparently:

                                            Tennis

                                        Smith Westerns

                                          Crystal Castles (fucking awesome)

                                                   DOM

                                           The Joy Formidable

                                               Portugal. The Man

                                         Nero

                                         Kaskade

I realized as I uploaded pics that I don't have the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. pictures I took during their in-store a few months back in my computer, so I'll upload those eventually. I also realized that I need a better camera. Or fix my old one which took good pictures, since most of the shots I take are too blurry, and too pixilated.

Some Of My Photos From 2010

Here are some of the photos of different things that I took. These were taken with my small digital camera so the quality may not be too good.

First up is various pictures I took in Chicago (my home away from home):

Now some pictures taken around Indianapolis and other random places around Indiana

Lollapalooza 2010 "Rumors"

It is nowhere near close to April, the month Lollapalooza releases its official line-up, but already the rumor mill is going full speed, especially within the last 24 hours when the first of the "rumored" headliners was announced by The Daily Swarm citing credible industry sources. The Swarm reported that Green Day, Lady Gaga, and Soundgarden had been confirmed to perform as headliners. The Chicago Tribune was next today in revealing that aside from those 3, New York rockers The Strokes, and Canadian super-group Arcade Fire's "negotiations were progressing" to head-line as well. The Tribune also mentioned that other smaller acts were confirmed, such as Yeasayer, The Dirty Projectors, and The XX. They will also be accompanied by other acts that have been "confirmed" such as the Flaming Lips, Phoenix, Cut Copy, and Hot Chip. Other acts being rumored today include MGMT, The Cribs, and Hockey. No official word yet but history shows that these "rumors" are mostly always true. There is still one more headliner spot up for grabs which could go to Muse, or The Gorillaz, or basically any big name act.
